ADVANCED RESONANCE TUNING (ART)

The world’s best-selling exhaust part for the VQ engine. Through countless hours of research and development, a new path has been explored in the never-ending quest for engineering excellence. A method of directly altering exhaust harmonics for enhanced performance and sound. Patent Pending Advanced Resonance Tuning (TM).

ADVANCED RESONANCE TUNING – ART Y-PIPE

Nissan 7th and 8th generation Maxima Advanced Resonance Tuning (ART) Y-pipe.

The Motordyne ART Y-Pipe is for increased power and torque without the drastic increase in loudness normally associated with test pipes. This is achieved by the attached resonator tube that is precisely tuned to dampen out the unwanted frequencies.

QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP

The flanges and tubing are constructed entirely of stainless steel 304L alloy. The tubing is polished to further enhance their corrosion resistance. All TIG welding is performed with argon back purging for oxidation free welds on the inner and outer surfaces.

SOUND

Motordyne ART pipes provide the quietest, smoothest, deepest sound of any Y-Pipe while greatly reducing or eliminating rasp and drone. Think of the ART Y-Pipe as an equalizer for your vehicle, boosting the low-end and high-end frequencies while reducing the mid-range. The difference in sound is not subtle. They’re not conventional Y-Pipes. They’re ART Y-Pipes!

PERFORMANCE

The ART Y-Pipe increase power and torque without the drastic increase in loudness normally associated with Y-Pipes (US Patent 20150247433). The resonator tube acts to reduce the forces required to expel the exhausts from the engine, thus giving a noticeable bump in power and torque.

Not for AWD vehicles.
