Seal the factory oil-cooler coolant port cleanly

Removing the factory oil cooler from a K20A2, K20Z1, or K20Z3 leaves an open coolant port on the water pump that must be sealed. Hybrid Racing's water pump port block-off fitting fills that port correctly, allowing the factory cooler and its hoses to be deleted without relying on an improvised plug.

The fitting is designed specifically for the factory water-pump port and uses pre-installed O-rings for a secure, watertight seal. It works equally well in the original chassis, a front-wheel-drive swap, or a rear-wheel-drive conversion.

When to Use This Block-Off

• Deleting the factory oil cooler and sandwich plate
• Installing a custom or remote oil-cooling system that does not use the factory coolant circuit
• Simplifying cooling-system plumbing in a K-series swap

Keeping the Oil-Cooler Circuit?

If the coolant circuit will remain in use and you want to convert the factory barbed connection to AN plumbing, use the Hybrid Racing -6 AN water pump port fitting instead. This block-off is intended only for systems where the factory port is no longer used.
