Diffusers work in conjunction with other aerodynamic components of a car to help produce downforce. Because a car displaces air as it moves forward, the air molecules in the rear of the car become disrupted, creating a low-pressure vacuum.
To help channel the high-speed airflow coming from underneath the car, the diffuser redirects the airflow so it transitions smoothly into the low-pressure area at the rear. This promotes smoother airflow beneath the car and allows aerodynamic components such as rear wings to perform more effectively.
Carbon Fiber Construction
This component is formed in an autoclave at high temperatures using pre-preg carbon fiber manufacturing processes for high strength and low weight.
UV-Resistant Coating
Finished with a UV-resistant coating for long-lasting appearance and durability.
