To use it, connect the harness to your vehicle’s OBD-II port, the Gateway connector, and then to the Accessport. The Gateway Bypass Harness enables ECU communication in situations where the Accessport would otherwise be ignored—such as during initial installation, when dumping an unsupported vehicle ROM file, or when recovering from a failed flash.
