ART CATS – ADVANCED RESONANCE TUNING WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS

Motordyne ART CATS are Helmholtz resonated catalytic converters for DE engines yielding smoother, deeper sound with increased power and torque.

QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP

Constructed entirely of stainless steel 304 for enhanced corrosion resistance.  All TIG welded with inert gas purge, inside and out, for oxidation free welds on the inner and outer surfaces.

SOUND

Motordyne ART CATS provide the deepest, smoothest sound of any catalytic converter with significantly reduced rasp and drone.  ART CATS equalize the exhaust note by boosting the low and high frequencies while reducing the midrange loudness.  A trait which is even more important with catalytic converters.  The difference in sound is not subtle. These are not conventional catalytic converters. They’re ART CATS!

PERFORMANCE

ART Cats increase power and torque with Helmholtz resonance. By tuning the resonator phase and frequency to the engines exhaust pulses, the resonator (on a cyclical basis) vacuums exhaust gasses out of the cylinders during the exhaust stroke, thus allowing the next intake stroke to draw in more fresh fuel and air.  The result is increased power and torque combined with reduced rasp and drone.

Not for AWD vehicles.
